We have put in place a range of physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security. This helps ensure that:
We make periodic backups of the information in ComWriter every 30 seconds to mitigate the damage that software or hardware failure might cause. ComWriter data is stored on its own server, which is also backed up, so that loss of data is minimized. Should hardware failure occur, data loss will be minimal because of the frequency of our backups.
Everything you enter into a ComWriter Project will be saved as you type, automatically; no need to click save or anything. Only the current version of your project is available. For us to keep a history of the project that you’re writing, simply click on the Save button. Every save creates a new version of the project (the version number is recorded on the dashboard).
In our initial releases, to restore a project to a previous version, it will be necessary to contact our customer support team at firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be a small charge for this service.
We do not store any credit card numbers or details on our server. All credit card transactions are processed by eWay and protected by their “military-grade software and servers” as well as providing a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) with 256 bit encryption. More detail are available on the eWay web-site.
